Hello family!
Hello family!
Ok so transfers.... Im staying in hollywood! and i'm so happy. And im staying with sister warner, and i'm so happy about that too! I love her so much! but here's the thing.. We got our own apartment!! and our area doubled in size!! We are so excited! We took over the other sisters area, and they are now working in english. So there are tons of changes! But there is going to be so much work and we are so excited!!!!
Ok this week we met Becca. So in our zone we have this special project of finding less actives from the English ward cause they have over 500! And we found one and is amazing! her name in Becca Knowlton she's 27 and is in the film business, and we are all best friends. She has had a crazy life, but is still so strong. She's going to come back to church! And she told us that she wants to be able to go through the temple in the near future and she wants us to come with her! I know we will be best friends for the rest of our lives.
Also this week we went back to Rosa... she is the one that doesn't believe Joseph was a prophet and that he could have translated the book of mormon... kinda crazy. But this week, she told us that she loved us! and that next sunday she'll come to church just for us! haha which at this point I don't even care if it's for us and not for herself! she's been investigating for years! it's about time she does something!
Also this week We went to the VC with Jackie and Joseph! it was amazing. After the family video, Jackie was just crying and crying. And she said it made her sad. But we didn't ask why cause we were with the VC sisters. but we went and met with them last night and found out that it's because all the pictures and videos in the VC are of complete families, and she said " we can be part of this church, they don't want single mothers. they want families." It was the saddest thing. she was crying and so were we. We just told her over and over again that God loves her and wants her to be close to him no matter what her circumstances are. We are meeting with them tomorrow ans setting new baptismal dates with them.
We had two special parties for Sister Snyder this week. It was so cool to see just how much the people loved her, and to watch her talk about her mission. I want to be able to have that same experience a year from now. Just to be able to say that I loved my mission, and that I changed for the better. It's been a good thing to see her go home, it just makes me want to work harder and be better.
Family I love you so much! Thank you for being so amazing! I am truly blessed. Love you!
